This week we learned about Crystals and Gems. We loved learning about Birthstones, find out what your families birthstones are. We finished writing our story and are getting ready to publish it for you to read. In math we finished rounding. I have a test to show you. We learned about how different cultures have different celebrations. We also learned that people may celebrate the same holiday but in different ways. We shared how we celebrate Thanksgiving and learned that some students do not celebrate this holiday in our class. Lastly, we had picture day, can't wait to see those smiles! Happy Thanksgiving! Hi Parents, This week we learned about Remembrance Day. We made tissue paper poppies for our wreath. We had Mrs Arcure's Husband, Warrant Officer Shibley speak to us on zoom about what the Canadian Military does. We made an alphabet book called R is for Remembrance Day and made silhouette art. On Wednesday we had a virtual field trip to the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Ask me about what we learned. We learned a new math game called sum it up, if you have time you can play it with me.
